Hitting Tomorrow’s Home Runs
“Building a culture of change in your own business takes time and hard work. You will fail from time-to-time, and not live up to your own standards or expectations. But it begins by taking an honest look at your business.”
That’s what Adam Gloss of Bel Red Energy Solutions says in the latest issue of IE3. Adam says the rapid change in the HVACR industry means that contractors need to make a specific commitment to a business culture that values innovation — and that means accepting that sometimes you will fail, and that you need to talk about those failures openly.
“This engagement with staff and customers has helped us to identify opportunities we never would have on our own,” Adam writes. “It led to us develop electrical and plumbing divisions, and to identify new products and services in HVAC for which there was unmet demand. It helps drive our revenue and provide steady work for our team members, while giving us more satisfied customers.”
Read what Adam has to say, and then tell us what you think about it, in The Exchanger.
